Head Above Water

Guys, I'm treading water here.  May is the worst month for our family. It's packed full with end of school year activities and deadlines.  I'm trying to take over some of Geary's normal household responsibilities so he can have more time for grading and sleeping.  But I'm also still working on the church restroom.  Our bedroom has an enormous pile of clean clothes for me to fold and put away which makes me utterly baffled at the enormous pile of dirty clothes to wash.  How can we have two enormous piles?  And now Miles and Toby have been sick.  Toby might have an ear infection so I'm working on getting him in to see a doctor today.  I am feeling a wee bit overwhelmed.  I don't mean to complain, but I guess I needed to vent and wave a little flag to say, "I need some flotation assistance!"  Will you buoy me up with your prayers and some encouragement that this month will indeed end?  Thank you, friends!

  4. I am praying for you, Jeana. That you would have an extra measure of grace and patience with your family and with yourself. That you would feel strength from Christ buoy you up when you are overwhelmed and that you would know that he is there even in the times of fine weather and smooth sailing. I am praying for health for your family, and peace for your heart. Lots of love is heading your way.
