A Boy and His Backyard

"I wanna go outside, I wanna go outside, I wanna go OUTSIDE! Mama, I go outside, please?  PLEASE?  I get my boots."

I hear that excited ramble of words every day from my three year old, Toby.  He simply loves being outside.  And I simply love having a backyard for him to play in.

This afternoon as I was cleaning the house I let Toby out by himself (the yard is fully fenced in) and when I went to check on him he was having such a good time with his trucks that I had to grab my camera and sneak some pictures of my cute boy.

I am a very wealthy woman.  Rich with adorable boys!

  2. Elisa always wants to play outside too. But we don't have a yard... and with a napping baby, it is sometimes hard to be able to take her out. She spends a fair amount of time on the porch... but it's not quite the same as a yard. A yard is the one thing that I long for more than anything... maybe someday!

I would love to make a nest necklace for you! Here's my email: jeanalinhart@gmail.com You can let me know how many eggs and what color(s) and then I'll take a picture of the necklace and give it it's own etsy listing so you can see it before you purchase. Hope to hear from you soon!

  5. Carolyn, I hear you! Having a back yard has been one of the biggest blessings in this house. I hope you get one of your own someday! Maybe it will happen on your upcoming move!
