A Wise Woman

"I've come to the conclusion that laundry is not a chore. It's just something you have to continually do in order to live...like eating or brushing your teeth."

  1. okay two comments: One of my sister in laws used to just buy new clothes when hers got dirty--she was also single and had way more expendable income than we do!

The other thing is that I was recently convicted from First Timothy when Paul is giving instructions about widows and he says that young widows aren't to be supported by the church, but that they should "remarry, raise their children and manage their homes." I know Proverbs 31 talks about specific things to do, but thing more general command seemed to be a job title, not so much a to do list. It seems more dignified than, "the cleaner of the toilets, maker of dinner, washer of dirty clothes." God wants us to see our jobs as something worthy of honor.
