More Lessons From Parenthood

Jeana: Noah, I'm glad I'm your Mommy.
Noah: I'm glad I'm your Noah.

He's glad he's my Noah. Not my baby, not my son, but my Noah. He belongs to me, he's attached to me...but he's completely happy being Noah, himself. Oh Lord, I'm glad I'm your Jeana. Thank you for making me who I am. Thank you for making me who you've planned for me to be. Please help me to remeber that I'm yours. And I'm me. I don't have to pretend to be anyone else. I can just be you were pleased to make. You're glad you're my God. And I'm glad I'm your Jeana.
