Here's our latest project for the Family Business. We saw this play kitchen in some one's driveway by their trashcans. When we asked the owners if they were trying to get rid of it they said, "Yes! Please take it!" and gave it to us for free!
I immediately saw the potential for what a cute play kitchen this could be. A little cleaning, some fresh paint, and a few new accessories and tah-dah!
We love how it turned out--especially the "stainless steel" appliances. What do you think?

I have to give a special thanks to the Watson family for delivering the kitchen to us in their trailer and for donating the sink--thanks guys! Your generosity has a been a huge blessing to us!
Now that is impressive work you guys!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! How cool is THAT!!
ReplyDeleteSO stinkin' cute! love the stainless steel...maybe i'll paint my fridge silver too. maybe the landlord wouldn't like that:)
ReplyDeletetalk about diamond in the rough! you guys did an amazing job!!! are you keeping it or putting it on CL?
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! We would have loved to have kept it but we didn't have the space for it and it's purpose was to make money for us. It was only on Craigslist for about 6 hours before it sold for $150.
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks for the before and after pics. Tidy little profit there -- congrats!

It makes me want to bake a teeny tiny cake! Every little baker's dream kitchen. Great work.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! Did you use cd's for the burners? Hope you find some more of someones "trash" to make "treasures".
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindy! CDs ended up being too big for the burners so we used coasters from Ikea! The oven racks (which you can't really see because they are inside the oven)are also from Ikea--they are black cutting boards.
