We got back last night from a long weekend in Albany. We had a great time but it sure went by fast! Here are some pictures from our trip:
FRIDAY
Loaded into the car in our driveway. The kids are shouting "Grandma's HOUSE!!!"
We stopped for dinner and the kids shared a lemonade.
SATURDAY
We drove up to the farm where Lila had a new toy. Look at my boy with a power drill (like mother like son)!
Analia preferred using the manual screwdriver.
When the kids went to feed the cows, we realized that we had forgotten Noah's warm coat at home. So he borrowed this one from the farm. (Grin)
SUNDAY
No pictures from Sunday. Geary and I took a tour of some manufactured homes (just to see what they looked like--pretty nice, actually) and had lunch out. Other than that we just had a quiet day playing at home.
MONDAY
Grandpa Bob and Grandma took us to the Children's Museum in Salem--it was SUPER fun!
Noah sitting in a pretend bus. He can't wait to go to big-boy-school.
Experimenting with air pressure. Noah is looking at a ball floating on a jet stream of air.
The kids really loved the playground outside the museum.
Noah and Lili on a play truck. Grandpa Bob would stand behind them and shake the truck so that they would have a bumpy ride. I wish you could hear the giggles--from all three of them!
Noah loves steering wheels.
Analia's favorite thing was the big girl swing.
After the Children's Museum we all got to go on the carousel! Lili rode Magic and Noah rode Billiebom. On the next ride, Lili was on Stardust and Noah chose Nugget. Noah looks scared this picture, but he really was having a fun time.
It was a really big day, because after the carousel the grandparents took us all out for icecream! Here's Noah standing in front of CJ the Cow near the ice cream parlor.
TUESDAY
We had another lazy morning, packed up, played Battleship with the kids, had a teaparty, and then drove home. In all the try-to-have-as-much-fun-as-we-can-in-our-last-few-hours-here time, I forgot to take any pictures.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Bob for your hospitality, love, and entertainment. We had a wonderful time visiting you and we can't wait to do it again. We love you so much!
